Tilt Switches and Sensors

Tilt switches and sensors are freely suspended and give a signal when they are deflected from the vertical due to contact with bulk material. This means that dump cones, transfer points, filling levels, etc. can be monitored.

Our mercury-free tilt probes utilize advanced technology to achieve the same performance as traditional mercury switches. Mercury switches are no longer allowed to be used in the European Union.

Contact output tilt switches can be used standalone or in combination with a control unit. They only detect the vertical or tilted position.

Electronic tilt sensors must be operated in combination with a control unit. They also monitor faults, cable breaks and short circuits.
